yo im building a rail in my shop class, aboiut 12 feet long, and the rail im using to slide on is about 12 feet, but it has a little rusk on it, but not to much, if i paint the rail will that effect my sliding, or should i just leave it a little rusty
i dont think it would, it depends on what kind of paint you use, i slid a painted metal rail on my skate board before and it wsa fine, you shouldnt have a problem
well rails in the park are painted but im not quite sure if it will be sticky or not. do you plan on using it when its hot out or.
my freind painted his and it works fine in the winter and my other freinds isnt painted and its kinda rusting and its slides fine so i donno just try it without paint first then if it sucks sand and paint it
i dono. my rail was a 3inch pipe that i had for a clothes line, and the paint came right off it. and it was pretty narly but i think it was the type of paint. and also usualy at mountains if u look at the rail the paints usualy scraped off where u slide.
