so im choosing my course for next year in highschool, and im taking guitar, but i wanna switch it to photography, but my mom wants me to take spanish. To switch the courses i need a note from my parents and my mom isnt gonna make a note sayin i can take photoghraphy, what would u do
if you forge a parent signature and get into photography what are your parents going to do? Will taking spanish be worse than your parents eventually finding out that you're in photography? Which course will be useful down the road?
if you haven't already, i'd start by making a list of logical reasons of why you should take photography over spanish and talk to your mom about it.
u have photography in ur school? thats fuckin amazing. and for the spanish thing, do it, speaking another language looks really good on resumes and stuff like that.
i think the only reason why i would take spanish, is cuz it looks sexy to chicks, if i set up a nice romantic dinner, some candles, just me and her in the room, and i speak spanish, ill get laid
man, i took it this year, and my teacher said i almost had it fluient, i finished with a 92 in the course, and didnt try at all, it was actually kinda boring for me
im a film student im graduating next year and i must say that in high school i only got involved outside of school as far as film etc. is concerned. you dont need to take film or photography in high school to do what you love. if you cant convince your mom to let u take it it's ok you know. you can go to college for photography or film. that's what i did. i got into a school that only accepts 12 people per year and i didnt have any formal experience. just writing and some filming i did in my free time.
i dont understand why almost everyone i know or talk too are talking phtotgraphy...but w/e to each his own..i would go through with it james and take photography...steve made a good point about learning new languages...if u think u are going to use photography...or there is just a hot chick u are trying to hook up with...then talk to yo momma...
