Damn Sticky Snow

how many of u have ever been riding down the slope...whether it be approaching a lip, crusin open trail, or just headin to the park....and then out of nowhere....u hit a spot of snow that feels like u are ridin through a puddle of super glue?? it really pisses me off and im not even sure wat causes it...has anyone here ever had it happen to them?

prob man-made snow. i especially hate landing in it, i'll just pop off of a random bump, then land and either fall forwards, or slow down a lot and look like i cant land a jump

Thats the worst for me, when you hit a puddle and dont realise its there.

i was going like a bazillion miles an hour and then all of the sudden i hit this patch of sticky snow and I got thrown outta my bindings (cuz they suck) all the way down the knoll.

Apparently this year there was some dust storm in arizona or something, and the dirt got all the way to our (colorado) mountains and left us with a bunch or dirty red slow snow.
