Limewire

I just upgraded my Limewire to 4.10 and now I can't exit. If I exit it just pops up again in about ten seconds, really annoying, but I don't want to delete it. Help?

i use lime wire allllllllllllllllll the time and never get viruses. people that get viruses from it are HUGE FUCKING IDIOTS. if you are opening any type of file that you dont know where it came from then scan it first. get used to the size of files and learn how big files will be. if your trying to download software lets say (freeware of course) and all the contents are contained in a zip folder, then it will really depend on how big and extensive the software was. if one were to download a trial version of photoshop cs2 the zip would be around 330 MB. now you wouldnt download a file called fotoshop.exe that is 640 kb big, because i would bet you a great amount of money that its going to be a virus. agg fuck im going on. thanks for reading if you did

Ive used limewire and morpheus, and morpheus is about a zillion times slower. i just scan all my files with norton before opening them

you dumb shit, limewire pulls from morpheus and other gnutella servers. morpheus is shit cuz it only pulls from 1. thats why limewire is so big.

and fucking use the search bar dude, ive said NOT TO UPGRADE 500 times on this site. when are you ignorant kids gonna get it through your head? if u have a hack/illegal program the works dont try and upgrade. ur asking for problems. why do u need to upgrade limewire in the first place? answer = NO FUCKING REASON BUT TO GET SPYWARE/ADWARE

i dunno, dont really branch out on P2P programs. find something that works and use it. alot of the smaller based programs dont have the song/program selection. so ive used limewire for 5 or more years and no need to go looking for others cuz i find anything and everything i search for

maybe your connection and computer blows, but not limewore. i usually get speeds of 75-200kb/sec from people. songs download in 20sec to 3 min.

ya if your computer sucks and you have the updated version. again I have a 64 bit athlon processor with 768mb RAM, nothing is slowed down.

it does take up a lot of memory when its running, thats why if yuour computer isnt the greatest then it wouldnt be the best idea in the world to download a bunch of shit, talk to people on msn, edit photos with ps, reading a .pdf file, listening to a song, scaning your computer for viruses, and installing 17 things at once.

I downloaded limewire pro so it's going even faster now....
