Started off just like any other. Girlfriend comes over, watch a movie. We decided that a hot tub would be nice, so we take off our cloths and get into the tub. After a good 20 minutes, we get out, dry off and go back inside. As we start getting dressed, she goes "I don't feel so good." Suddenly she starts swaying on her feet a bit. I come over to her and grab onto her, and said something like "stop fucking around." She looks up to me and her pupils dilate really quickly. She then lost consciousness and started shaking in my arms, with me holding her up. I set her on the ground and she came to. I got her some water and bread and she felt alright afterword. She still felt weak when she left. I'm thinking that it was a rush of blood to the head after getting out of hot water, but it seems a little intense for that.

yeah she probably if she is like most girls just don't eat enough or if she does mebbe something thats not that filling, and that makes them suseptable to things like that. I don't know your gf though.

Hot tubs can really play tricks with your heart, especially if your in there too long. Partly because of the heat and partly because of the jets on your body. So it's pretty likely her heart might not have known how to respond to the sudden change in pressures, temperatures, etc...when she got out of the tub and blood rushed to her head.

ive all most passed out in the shower because of heat and i felt sick so i sat down rising fast and the heat made me so off balance light headed.

man that exact same situation has happened to me on numerous occasions, bitches get a little too drunk/crazy/exhausted then get out and bam! they're passed out...

Here's what happened, the hint is completely in the dilation of the pupils: She got into the hottub, her veins constricted because of the heat. she gets out of the hot tub, dramatic change in temperature (cooling). to get blood flowing quicker, her veins dilated very rapidly to increase blood flow. when the veins dilate that quickly, blood rushes down from the head into the rest of the body. not that she lost circulation of blood to the head, just a severe drop of blood pressure in the head. when this happens, you lose consciousness for a few seconds, then come back to. sorry to hear that shit happened, scary stuff.

I respect the thought you put into the idea...

But it is the opposite. Heat makes all things, including human veins expand. Cold makes things contract. This is why when you put an ice pack on a swollen appendage the swelling goes down.
-cold makes veins/arteries contract and then limits blood flow, so the swelling goes down.

hehe sorry its late. yeah the opposite, got into the hottub veins constricted, once she started cooling down blood rushed, and she blacked out for a sec. either way same concept. i need to go to bed...

Yea but what about the shaking. Isnt that indicitive of a seisure? And seisures are usually tied to neurological malfunctions. I dunno im not a doctor, but i do know that if you lose consciousness for an unexplainable reason you should go to the doctor for sure.

yeah, seizures can be pretty bad stuff. Are you sure you didn't mistake her for shivering or anything cause it was cold when you got out? If it's not shivering, I would check that stuff out.

kevo is right about the other but the shaking im not sure, ive had the same thing happen to me wen i was in the shower once causa the heat, ive also almost passed out a few other times randomly but no shaking

if she does it again n includes all the shaking, then id take her to a doctor, but if it doesnt happen again she'l be fine

Yeah man I totally agree, I was just pointing out that the logic behind the statement he made was incorrect. She should definitely tell a doctor what happened and get some tests done.

wow its not a fucking seizure, its the same as getting up off the couch too quickly - lose of blood to the head is what cause her to black out.. that shit happens to me all the time i went to the doctors and they said that my veins don't contract fast enough to keep the blood in my head... hence the black outs.

there ya go folks. pretty much that concept, however she might wanna still see a doc just in case, never hurts.

it CAN however, happen the other way around, it has to me, at the peak of my body high on shrooms just b4 you start the actual trip.

what happens: during the body high, your veins are constricted, and the heart starts pumping faster and faster as the body high intensifies. at the peak of the body high, heart is pumping so fast that the brain sends a message to the heart to slow the fuck down. when this happens very suddenly, veins and pupils dilate (beginning of actual trip), and blood rushes down from the head, causing you to black out, briefly. this can indeed induce shaking, and minor seizures.this does not happen to all, but some lucky few, like myself. it sux and is quite scary, cause after the black out, ur trippin really hard and have to realize and control emotions/experience.
