Im lookin for my 1st own pair of twins. I skiied some Foils and liked them but im looking for something a little softer without being a complete noodle. What ski and what length. Oh im 6'2" and about 150 lbs about 70% all mountain 30% park
^ya I was gonna say fujitives, probably 179. I heard they are soft I'm not sure how you define a noodle though. This is a good question for somebody who had fujis, cause I think that could be a good bet.
ummm anything softer than the foils and its not going to perform so hot all mtn...and u ski 70% all mtn...so i dunno, i guess some STLs?? or mayb some ninthward mikds...but ur best bet would be get some highsociety FR171s
yes listen to us the fujis are hellaflexy and you are hellatall so the 179s would fit u hellagood. and you can get them hellacheep. And their huribility is hellaawsome. Get these skis.
GOD stop recommending these stupid skis...he rides 70% all mtn...he doesnt want a fuja or an invader, he should get something like an ar5, fr171, or some mikds
I wouldnt reccomend fujatives for 70% all mtn. I own the 03-04 red fujatives (center mounted), and there horrible for any type of all mtn skiing. There too soft and flexy. You might be able to pull it off without center mounting them, but I still wouldnt reccomend it. Theres a certain speed that I know will cause the skis to chatter extremely bad, and I can almost call that speed. I dont even use them at the ski area any more. If your even a slightly aggressive all mtn skier, I would not reccomend you buying the fujaives.
If you do buy the foil, or a ski with a similar stiffness, I dont think you'll be dissapointed. The stiffer the ski, the more stable it is. I even ride stiff skis in the park because I know if I go for a 180 over a 35 ft booter on my fujatives, I'll probably die just trying to ride away switch because of the chatter. I also think stiffer skis can pop better. You just have to work a little bit more. I will reccomend you buying the ninthward butterlicous. I've never skied it, so I think you should try to demo it fitst.
