Ncaa tourney is a joke

im sure you have seen me on here rambling on about college basketball..... but FLORIDA is the champs.... thats rediculous.... honestly if you guys know anything youd know that south carolina won the NIT and beat florida TWICE in the regular season..... the best team doesnt win this year...

youre obviously a moron because parity like that in college basketball is what makes it so interesting, anyone can win, if you ran this exact tournament a second time, i can tell you for a fact florida wouldnt win it a second time, so the fact that south carolina beat them twice means nothing

Florida was not the same team they were in the regular season. To dominate a team like UCLA in the finals is pretty damn impressive. Wow South Carolina won the NIT, although that is impressive I highly doubt South Carolina would've even made it to the sweet 16.

The NCAA tourney is arguably the most exciting tournament in all of sports. The reason that it is so exciting is the single elimination style and the fact anyone could win.

Florida's coach was talking about you only have one loss until you are out, and that Florida wasn't the best team, just won the pressure games. I think that the tournament is exciting, and a practical way to narrow down the huge field of college basketball teams.

wow you guys that posted about how gay the tourney is and how sports in general are gay are so punk rock. rock on guys, fight structured sports. skiing and skateboarding are the only cool things to do.

This is one of the reasons that college basketball and march madness in particular is so great. Teams can rise up and play a few great games and end up winning the championship. Also, the fact that team can lose any game means that any and every game has meaning to it unlike so many other sports out there( pro basketball, baseball, pretty much any sport).

yea... some good points... but if you dont agree that this year selection commitee sucked then you dont know sports..... i know more sports than most of you so dont talk shit i love the ncaa tourney i guess my original post didnt come out right....

i only read the first post but you are actually retarded if you think the best team usually wins the ncaa tourney. if it were that way why wouldnt it be the number one seeds every year??

thats what makes the tournament so great. anybody can go on a run and do well in the tournament when it matters.

and this florida team is a completely different team than the one that played sc and lost twice. they have way more confidence and everybody on that team is playing their best right now.

i know yea i like that how underdogs have the chance but in contrast.... some teams deserve it way more than others.... not to win but to even be in the tourney... AIR FORCE in the tourney over UC .. thats a joke the commitee needs to get their shit straigh
