Replying to A glimpse of death
this happened to me and my bros and i felt like writting about it
so there we were siting on a log in the woods enjoying the first sunny day in what seemed like years. My friend had just broke his ankle when a feeble attempt of surfing down a rocky slope on a sled went horribly wrong. Instead of going to the hospital he had insisted on smoking two blunts. so there we were sitting on log in the forest tending to my friends wounds when he began to turn white, fading in and out of consciousness. Then it happened. My other friend had passed out and fell off the log six feet into a sea of grass and pointy stumps of death. he was lying there peacefull looking with grass and specks of dirt all over his face. From the looks of it he had fallen directly on one of those pointy stumps of death. A blood stain had leaked through his white shirt and stained it. he lay there frozen in time, impaled by a stump. i looked around at the group and saw the look of terror. my heart sank and i thought my friend was dead, killed, gone. I had prepared myself on television and in books but death in reality is so much different. The sight was so severe my other friend fainted. another friend of mine ran away from his fears and darted into the forest. time passed and the truth was revealed.
the boy who had fallen was alive but barely. he had, had a siezure. he had landed a mere inch from the stump and it had come up under his arm pit and the blood was a result of some superficial tearing. we lifted him to his feet and he was ghostly white. he started shaking again and his eyes turned grey and he fell backwards and hit his head hard on a stump. the forest felt haunted. two of my friends were passed out, one had a broken ankle, and one had run away into the forest..... in time it was over and no one died.
