Yes thats right, FOOTBALL. No I'm not a jock. In fact, I hate almost every kid on the team. I'm in love with the sport though. And tommorow is the first day of unnofficial training, at 6:40 AM. After a shitty year last year, our coach is determined. He has a crazy sceduale lined up for this summer which is going to make it hard to hold a job. I really just want to quit and say fuck it, but I have worked too hard in the pat 3 years to just give it up. This is senior year, the shit you play your whole life for. I am gunna be playing Middle linebacker. Right now, I see alot of work ahead of me. I am a pretty light kid, I weigh about 160 pounds. We are the top division in our state and it gets really competitive. I need to gain at least 15 pounds in pure muscle do really do my job well. I know the posisition, I just need the size, and that is gunna take sooooo much fucking work. I think it will be worth it in the end though. Who else plays football?

i play, and skiing comes second to football for me, so i take it pretty seriously i guess.
i play in canada and they dont take it as seriously up here, but its getting more popular i think.
my school just won what would be the equivilant to your "state championship". i missed this season because i tore my acl playing in a rep league in the summer. im still gona have the chance to play at university so im pumped for that, im not too sure what i'd do without football lol

Great contribution!
If you love it man, it's worth it. You'll never be able to play Senior Year Football again. You WILL be able to work the rest of your life though.

Yea dude my highschool coach is crazy. We have only won 1 game in four years, but this year we have a chance of being really good cause we got alot of talent comming in to play varsity. We have had scheduled lifting since the season ended and will have it till it starts again. We have joined a passing league that plays twice a week and we have team drills two times a week. We are going to a team camp in south dakota and we have two a days starting in august. Its gunna be crazy.

I played. Senior year 5th game at home I caught a quick hitch (I was a tight end) and right when I turned around the fucking lb dove at my foot from the outside, he broke my leg and tore the dorsal ligaments in my right ankle IT FUCKING SUCKED. Besides that it was a good time, football fucking gets you in mad shape though, best shape I was in was when I played.

HOO-RAH for crazy offseason programs... we've been having shit 6 days a week since the beggining of january.. im 6'1 - 190lbs and im gonna start both ways at corner and guard.. how funny is that, O-Line blows though.. only my 2nd year playing also

i started playing my freshman year, but that whole season i sat on the bench. this season, sophmore year, i started every game both ways. we play division 3 football, so noone is really that big, and im 6' 180 lbs and im one of the bigger kids on the team. i think were going to suck next year at varsity because we lost something like 13 starters to graduation, but this year varsity went undefeated regular season and only lost in the playoffs to abbington. my senior year should be good because we have a lot of talent in my grade, so we have the potential to be great, all we need is coaching

your state sucks at football. and by division do you mean conference? either way how could you possibly be in a dominant conference and have a twig as a middle line backer?

i started at safety then they moved me down to linebacker then to d end, back to linebacker, the strong safety again. i played in a game every position you can on defense, it was pretty sick

we can't practice with pads on till the 15 of august which is mad beat.. but we still do speed training, lifting, we watch tape, and we run plays and shit.. also we can suit up w/ helmets earlier for a camp we put on for the pop-warner teams (its a legit way to be able to throw some early stuff in)

I play football, I lift weights and run four or five times a week, and have been for the past two years, and I still find time to ski.

No shit dude, thats what I'm saying. I'm a skinny bitch, and I really need to gain weight. Thats the dedication part. I have the playing part down. I can tackle hit and run just fine, I'm just small.

.....obviously you didn't read the thread at all because thats basically what everyone said was that their football team has already been lifting and that tripples dont start for 134 days and our first game is somewhere around 150 days away.. against schnectady
All times are Eastern (-5)
