Not including custom skis (this is directed at you Iggyskier) what do you think is the best ski company based on the performance, durability, graphics etc...

haha, it seems as though the answers are pretty arbitrary. But Im curious to hear from people who have really tried a lot of skis, like Iggyskier and Vicious.

What are you talking about? The Prophet 130 is the best big mountain ski out there. And don't forget the 100/90/80's. These skis are not b/c booter skis. They are big mountain freeride skis.

I've ridden Rossi, Salomon, 4frnt, Line, and Volkls and I really feel like for what I do(almost exclusively park) Ninthward is what does that best... Overall, in a few years I think 9thward will be up there, but right now I have to say Volkl just because I can't think of a higher end ski they make that isn't like top 3 in it's category(park, bc, big mtn, racing, etc).

Core companies...
What is a core company anyways???
A company that makes product influenced by their riders, a company which is pushing the envelop, that a leader not a follower, a company that is looking to push the bounderies and striving towards new products... right???
Well is you agree then you'd have to say that the following companies are core:
Salomon
Dynastar
K2
Think about it. Three above companies and espescially Salomon was the 1st company to really make a go in the twin market... It's true.
It's funny how today it's companies like this that are always criticized...
Meanwhile we praise the like of Line, Armada and so on for being core...
I personally think that's funny. Armada, Line and those companies not trail blazing!! They are the one cashing in by coming into skiing when the market was there... It's companies like this that are pushing it now that the sport has become popular.

Not true. K2 and Olin actually were the first. Salomon was a follower in that aspect. They are also extremely influenced by k2 and other companies. Line was started by J lev as a high schooler for a project. NOT FOR CASH! Armada I have no idea, but they sell by their riders, and not by too much else. They all make good skis, they wouldn't be in the business if they didn't.

the whole core compant thing is all BS, who the fuck cares if its a core company it should only be judged by who makes the best skis with the best quality...core pfff

The 130 is not for open mellow lines at all, although they do rule there as well. This ski kills technical lines, steep nar spines, and has no speed limit. It's super light, agile, and has plenty of sidecut to rip anything that you throw at it. It's my everyday ski and I ski big mountain every day.
