me and mybuddy fabio studer have been hiking in the austrian alps for the past 2 weeks, and it is amazing, the tourist office showed us these amazing goat paths that take you through some phenominal alpine tundra, and bypass some wonderful cow grazing pastures, none the less we have had the time of our lives, i mean these are stories to tell our grandchildren

are you in innsbruck right now? Because you need to forget about Axamer and hit up Nordpark!
It just snowed 70+ cm's up there and its still coming down!

^ you need to check it out man!
my rent here is less than 300 CDN a month... you can easily live on less than 1000 a month as long as you dont drink too much, which is hard.
if you are a student here you can also get a pass for 275 euros for the entire year which lets you ski at 10 mountains. its pretty sick.

are you gonna be there next year? I think the time I'd be planning on doing this would be early december (that is when I have a 2 week break before I head back to the states), and is there snow to be skied then?

i wont be here next year unfortunatly... im going home in june.
but depending on when you come, december most of the mountains are open and on the weekend of the 17th, 18th it snowed over a meter in two days. it was nuts.
So if you wanna risk it, its unpredictable when its gonna snow here. my buddies and my parents came mid february and it didnt snow for 3 weeks.
in any case it will be dope so check it out. ask me if you have any other questions.
