Help with my skis

well i was in my garage and i saw my skis so i aws like "hey, my skis" and so i pick one up and turn it on the bottom and then i see a 3'' by 1 '' hole on the bottom all the way to the wood core can i like fill it in at my local ski shop or just get new skis al together?
