should have phrased that more properly. i meant to say is cosco has more experience with ski industry as a whole and puts work out for it. im not saying the other guys dont work hard but im saying is that cosco knows what kind of work he would have to do to accomplish a good part. i probably have no idea what im talking about.
PS clarke and ahmet and everyone else OBVIOUSLY works hard too.

I can't believe some of those guys were even allowed to enter. I thought the point of the superUNKNOWN contest was for people that DIDN"T have sponsors, and HADNT blown up yet. I think being featured on a companies website as a pro rider and going to the world superpipe championships should automatically disqualify you. They are all nasty skiers, but I don't think they belong in this contest.

ya, it'd be ill to see Mikey C win, skiing with him from time to time I have yet to not see him throwing down. Even his first day on jumps, with a freshley broken hand the kid was working hard and doing impressive stunts. He's a super nice chill kid too. Not to mention he's super talented, seeing as he made Me Gusta and it turned out so good.

oh yikes...thats insanely tough to judge...lil john is my boy, but hejust won ygo, so he doesnt need this break..ahmet has unreal rail talent, potentially the best i have ever seen, and he never travels (his trip to vail this year was first time EVER on a plane) that being said, i think ahmet is the most deserving. He put together a competitive segment with urban rails and tiny shitty jumps compared to other segments made all over the country in perfect parks etc....thats just my two cents, but i think ahmet deserves this break..

I think cosco , riddle and LJ didn't need this break out. Already signed and money with their sponsors. Ahmet lack of jumps(no unnatural) but one of the best on handrails for sure so I dont think he could win.

For the finalists:
Are you prepared to drop your sponsors and ride for Spy Optics, Siver Cartel, Jiberish Clothing, and a ski company (I dont think one has been determined yet)? Because those companies are involved to add a rider to their teams. That is one of the reasons they sponsor the contest. If not, then you should not win. You are potentially taking away an opportunity for someone who is looking for those hookups. And if you are not going to drop your current sponsors to ride for the companies involved, you should not be in the contest because you are already set up.

Whos more unknown then Christopher honeywell? this kid has the sickest style out of any of those videos, even without any sort of 1080 or multiple switchups on a park rail. And he is practically unsponsored, whereas alot of the other competitors have been handed free gear at various occasions.

Yea, Cosco, amazing skier, but he rides on the Ninthward Pro Team, i dont understand how this is unknown. And Ahmet is on the Am Team. Lil John just signed with Siver, Line, Scott, Level and won the Young Gun Open at Avila.
All of these guys deserve to be recognized, and they are amazing skiers. I just dont understand how they are classified as Unknown. Props to all of the guys that made it tho.

to be honest, as he sent me his and we talked about it briefly, Dan was lacking in some of his bigger spins. He didn't really have anything big, but he knew that and told me that was the one thing about it he wasn't happy about. Which is a shame, cause he does have the tricks, he just didn't put them in the vid... and everything that is in the vid is dope.

i dont know about the other people, but as for lil johns segment thing, last year i filmed him, not for anything else, but just to film....it just so happened that both anthnony from h3o asked for some of the footy, and geoff from meathead did the same. a heavy percentage of the footy you see of him in the movies came from just him and i filming at diff spots (about the only "support" came from geoff and the whole loon trip he hooked up, which was freaking sweet!). that edit you see there i made as i got more and more footage of him during last spring. i read about how berman put the post up of how there is like 2 days or something left, so i called lil john up and suggested i just send that thing to see how it went. it wasnt really a thought out planned out thing. as for the whole him getting money thing... he's just on flow from these companies. stop trying to breakdown if these guys really are "superunknown"...they all deserve it. each and every one of them put in the time and effort to get these tricks down and they deserve respect for it. ill just say i hope lil johnny boy wins because hes a cool lil fucker.

Holy shit yea! If this is the same rail I am thinking of I cannot believe that he fucking slid this thing! I was up in Burlington a few weekends ago for a show and I was killing time just driving around scoping rails and I saw this thing (like right in Shelburne right? at an elementary school or something?) and I was in awe. I had no idea someone had slayed it already though. Unbelievable. This rail is balls.

naw man, i dont like rails more, its just i havent filmed on jumps the whole year, we never have a camera out and it sucks.. our mountains been doing so bad with snow this year, and thats been dragging it all down, i have a lot more jumping on film now, it was just so early in the season.. and the powder stuff is so fun, it was my first time ever doing it so yeah, going to vail is the only time i filmed on that stuff

k well, for everyone thats says someone is more deserving, im gonna give it up for riddle.. who is on the bubble of blwoing up, this kid works so hard for everything, and he had the HIGHEST score of the day in pipe at the us open, his score in qualifing was higehr than tanners winning runs score.

dude, i live in ny, i traveled on an airplane once in my life this year, i skied real powder for the first time this year at vail, and never came back down to the park.. the best time of my life was skiing out there for the week.. i dont mean to sound stupid, but i really dont think i have been known and had opportunity..

I know that I'm missing urban footy and backcountry but to be fair almost all of my footage is old... and I've been so busy this year I havn't filmed anything except for a handful of pipe runs from comps...I havn't done a single day of just filming. As for getting paid, i can tell you that I'm not getting much...definately not enough to cover my costs...I had to work landscaping all fall and part of the summer and get a lot of support from my parents.
