Good ski for carving up kickers

I have a pair of 187 MSPs and they rock except that i am having trouble spinning with them because I can't carve up jumps. I race and after races i go into the park with my slalom skis which are not too short (166) and i find that their short turn carving ability rocks when doing spins cuz i can really carve up the kicker. So what skis do you guys think will perform similar to a slalom ski. Someone is gonna ask so Im 6'4" and weigh 195 lbs.

not for a slalom ski. They're stiff as hell. 166 is actually very long among slalom skis. But im just asking if there's a ski with a lot of pop and a tight turn radius.

The foil is probably the most slalomy shaped one.

i was just looking and saw that chronics have a low radius sidecut, so ill look into those.

I believe that the elizabeths and the invaders have an elliptical sidecut, so the radius is tighter at the tips than under foot. according to the site it helps you carve off the lips of jumps and get corked easier. its like a snowboard sidecut

he is having problems spinning, not problems being "steezey"

haha, I did just make a thread about the P3, by scott, maybe you should check that out. A 16.5 m turn radius in a 178 cm ski.

invaders, eliptical sidecuts produce many different turn radiuses. aka, sweet carving off lips.

you're absolutely wrong dude. it's got a radius of like 20m. that's more than most gs skis..

I think you can make the edges on any ski sharp, just use an edge tuner.
But for skis with a tight turn radius, if the Salomon Gun has the same shape as the Pocket Rocket those will have a 14m turn.

buddy are you fucking kidding me. carving off lips is the future.
btw scott p3s have a really tight radius, so do heads, dynastars work well too and have mad pop especially when loaded up from carving

you are big and the 178 is the largest the invader comes in...from them being soft if i was on your shoes i would be afraid to buy em too. Last thing i would want is to land a little backseat and snap em

dude it's super easy to cork your ish out whe you carve in, it's just dangerous cuz your trajectory might be a little off when you leave the lip. I saw a guy carve to hard right spinning of the lip of the 70 footer at Alpine Shreadows last year and he landed in the death chunks off the side of the jump, busted through a bamboo shoot with rope on it and just barely missed a huge tree. Needless to say he had to get carted off it was tragic.

invaders, and elizabeths should get the job done...just if you buy the invaders, i'd pop a rivet through the tips and tails
