Some people find different grabs to be harder to learn that others.
And even though a safety grab is normally considered the easiest, it was actually kinda hard for me, because my legs are so long.
Try to learn these:
Safety - Pull both legs up to chest and grab right edge of ski under the boot with right hand (or vice versa)
Lui Kang - safety grab except opposite leg is extended fully. (and nobody call these gay, theres nothing wrong with a little oldschool once in a while)
Mute - this can be crossed or uncrossed depending on what you like. But grab outside edge of ski right in front of the binding with the opposite hand. Example: Grab left ski with right hand. If you want to tweak it out crossed, just pull the ski.
Phil Grab - this is kind of like a tweaked out safety grab and a little harder. It's always crossed. Just make sure to drop and turn the opposite foot of the grab under the ski to make the cross.
Critical - this is sort of like the mute, except the inside edge of the opposite ski is grabbed but further up the ski.
Those should keep you busy for a while.
