Twin Tips lighter?

as u may know i ordered some K2 Juvys about a week ago and they are gonna be my first pair of twin tips. I was just wondering if they are lighter than most regular shaped skis? thanks

all twins tend to be lighter because of simple designs without shit that adds weight, such as plates/lifters, metal in cores and beefed up center. twins are simple for low swing weight in the air and to save weight fir responsiveness
