ahhh. my side feels like i got kicked by horse, my legs really dont want to move, and my neck is just plain sore. but, this is the kind of pain that really feels good. tonight, i spent about 2 hours learning to hit rails switch, and the aches and pains are constant reminder of my new trick. It feels so good to spend all that time and finally be able to do them consistantly. and i was able to help a couple other kids with thier railslides too, so my day kicked ass!

if yah want a little help, i found it helps to lean at a 90 degree angle instead of just turning your head around, and when you pop up, make sure you pop forward, because if you dont, your ass meets steel or ice. last, find a rail that will absorb the imact of you falling, like a mailbox or pvc rail.

yeah ive been trying them on my backyard rail for quite some time now, the transition is sooooo steep tho cause it goes from really steep to jump so its pretty sketchy, but ive been improving, you gotta fall the first few times... makes it feel so much better after you finally get it tho, congras bro

switch, ha. i can barely get on the normal way. actually, it isnt getting on thats my problem, its staying on. today i was sliding some rails, and my feet were to close together, and they slipped out from under me, causing myself to fall ont he rail, and leave a mammoth bruise. anyway, congrats on the switch entry. Thats sick

i just dialed my first 630 safety disaster to 810 japan off. the rail was 50 feet tall.

whoa! sweet! howd you do that? it would suck to nut yourself on a 50 ft tall though.
also, i was thinkin, a 270 on would actually be easier when hittin the rail switch, cause you could keep you eyes on it at all times.

270 on was harder for me. they felt really blind. i stopped tryin them, learned fakie on and unnaturals. ive been tryin fakie 270 to unnat for awhile on a flat rail. i get around but my feet are usually off center. im waitin for the down kink to be put in at killington, would make it a lot easier.

really? when i hit it switch, i look over my right shoulder and grind with my right foot forward. if you came in looking over your left shoulder, and spun in that direction 270, you could grind it normal, and still see the rail the whole time. cant wait till this weekend. gonna try all this new stuff out. my two ski friends are in tahoe this week, and i wanna be able to show thier asses up when they get back! i also just bought new wisdom goggles on ebay- 60 bucks. cant wait to get to ski with them too.
