In the past 24 hours I have decided to go rebel on my parents

Well you see we got into this huge fight that basically ended in you don't have to live by our rules if you want to pay for your own shit all the time like food, gas etc. I was pissed and chose that option and then walked out. My current curfew is 10:30 because I got busted for smoking weed, but it was a long ass time ago. This was partly the cause of the fight. I just walked in the door and it is currently 1:01 am. My dad finnaly called at like 12:30 just as I was getting down with my girlfriend and told me to go home. Way to ruin a moment huh? But yeah sorry, i am just super wasted and all I have to say is that fuck what parents say, if anyone else is in this same situation, just fuck em and do what you want, I guerrentee you will feel so much better about it. I mean I am a fucking junior in high school and I still am treated like a fucking 13 year old. Just live the way you want, its way funner. Peace niggas.

dosn't sound like you have it too bad, instead of giving you a curfew, some parents would put you in rehab, or never let you leave the house. also, it sounds like a pretty reasonable rule, seeing as how you are still going out and getting wasted

curfew? when i got busted i got grounded (no hanging with friends or tv or computer...just kinda sit there and listen to music and read fucking books) for 4 months...curfew is pretty reasonable. 4 months was a little much but you just gotta find a way to live with them...they have given you time, money and love and you give them shit...

I am 17. I don't like the way my parents treat me, so freahmen year in high school i decided i wanted to move out ASAP. They kicked me out a few times but i wasnt allowed to get my own apartment under the age of 18. I decided to graduate early, move out the day i graduate and find any place to live. Today was my last day of high school. ALL of My stuff is in my car and i will be leaving in 2 hours. I am living with an older friend of mine 3 hours away from my parents house. I got a full time job and another part time job to pay for it. I also have a lot of money saved up because i have been planning for this day. I have payed for my own clothes, AND FOOD, since i was 10, i bought my own car, i pay for my insurence, cell phone bill, skis, clothing, gas...everything. Don't get attatched, you'll never escape their gripp...
In the spiring when i have enough money i will be driving out west to colorado and utah, and try to save up enough to pay for college tuition. I dont think you have it too bad. I dont think i have it too bad. If you choose to rebel, be ready to pay for all your shit, and if you go back to them, they win. Parents can fuck your life up, beleive me i know.

you're only a junior and you're parents still pay for you for stuff, consider yourself lucky, most parents dont by this point and you have one more year till you're 18 till you can legally do what you want so quit bitchin and stick it out, it's not that bad

Ok, since everyone insists on being such dicks about this let me explain a little bit. I got busted in October because I smoked weed. Ok, I was grounded no questions asked for about 6 weeks. This is understandable, I expected as much. I then got sent to drug rehabilitation, which is gay, but I can deal with it I guess. I then had to join a community service organization. Ok, fast foward to now, every time an anti drug arcticle shows up, my parents underline it and rub it in my face, just to make sure I remember that I'm a fuck up. They pretty much sit and talk shit to me. Having a real converstaion hasn't happened for about 2 months, and Im not even joking. If any of you assholes lived in my fucking house you would hate it too. Don't get me wrong, I appreciate and love them but they are so unreasonable its not even funny. Also, when I wrote this I was really fucked up, so why doesn't everybody just chill out and realize they don't know my situation and quit talking like Im a whiny bitch, because I'm not.

i had a rebellious streak in junior year of highschool too (only mine lasted for basically a month). i agree with what everyone else has been saying..live with your parents for now, because you'll probably be sorry when you realize you have to pay a lot of money for not a lot of stuff. respect them a little more for all the hard work they've done in raising you.

Agree with Huckingbunnie on the respect thing, your parents gave you a lot, like it or not. I had a real bad summer back from college with my parents, really hated it and was no good for anyone. Moving out in the fall... somehow cured everything however. I'm not advocating doing so, but sometimes distance is the best thing to do when you're in a bad situation like that. It gives every side a chance to cool off and really look and what the heck they're all trying to say.
