for straight rails use flat bar, it was cooler and sturdyer.

secure one end into something really strong, or put a car on top of it, then put a saw horse or somthing under the rail before the start of the bend, then heat up a place in the rail until you can bend it a little bit, the contiue to mave down the rail

To make a rail it helps to have the right tools. If you have a welder, just start with a small rail and make sure ur welding is sufficient. Then work ur way up. Bending can be done with heat, but they make special tools for bending steel, a lot like a press. Make sure you heat like at least 2 feet of the pipe up before trying to bend, otherwise you will get a kink in it, rather than a smooth bend. 2X4' light wall tubing works well to start welding on. You can make the legs out of like 2' tubing or almost anything to hold it. The next part is rails longer than 24' are welded together and that can be tricky if you have never welded before. If you order special tubing, you can get it longer.

Don't try to bend it yourself, it will be really gay. have a piece of round tubing rolled the radius you want. Thats what i had done with my c rail

like a pipe, but actually buy a good steel one from a metal shop. they can have it rolled.
