Just got the Freeskier issue with the resort guide in it and the bastards are up to their tricks again. For the Midwest section I hadn't ragged on the place so hard, had actually given it grudging props, and I'd also called out Nubs Nob and Caberfae Peaks as two resorts to hit up in the LP. Both got dropped in favor of a sappy paragraph written by some clown about Boyne, and the intro got re-written too. Shit happens I guess... the bastards!

Thats bullshit. Has Ski Time thought of doin a Midwest thing at all, since Freeskier obviosuly doesn't like it.

ski time was in fact going to have some midwest coverage, but when the assistant editor left the office for the winter, the editor (without even bothering to tell his counterpart) dropped the story. we had some sick photos of t-barnes, too.

on that note, next year I'm def going to be pushing for a midwest feature but we gotta have photos, i was calling in circles this summer trying to find half-decent shots. hunter lubeck-wanty is my last hope, but like obi-wan kenobi even he is off somewhere else (like utah) when he's needed most.

I think they first need to work on sending the magazine to people who signed up in the midwest. Cuz I def didnt get mine so fuck ski time and freeskier ne way just goes to show we need freeze back more than ever!!
