Bindings break...

yea i was skiing tonight and i did a 5 and both my bindings broke and then i got on my brothers look maxflex and did a 5 .... crack..... i landed perfect to.. just when i landed the bindings decided not to do their job and just go ahead and break:( i guess my question is does anyone have and ideas for bindings that wont break when i land perfectly fine ANY HELP would be greatly appreciated ANY BULL**** wont be and its not funny i just want to ski like the rest of you:)

any suggestions on what kind of looks cuase my brothers had this little plastic piece in the back that cracked and the whole thing poped out and mine are markers and thats just self explainatory those suck but i want something light that wont bend crack etc. but hey who doesnt

ANY race binding. indestructable. all metal construction. examples: look p18s, rossi FKS 155 and 185s, salomon s918s or something of that sort.

well i broke three bindings tonight both on my skis and one on my brothers at this point i will take the lasting binding over a little extra weight god i hate my life

While race bindings are heavy, its hard to deny their strength. Its tough to design a nearly indestructable binding that is light.

But like people have said, Looks are pretty damn strong. I can't remember seeing many broken look bindings.

Any chance the shop mounted them wrong? Also if you have a looks on a dynastar or etc for matching skis with company bindings, usually it extends the warrenty for both.

wrong, i broke 2 pair last year , the high end race binders are the tanks of bindings in my opinion .

They can be waaaaaay heavier.... i'd say as much as like 500% heavier.

PX should be more durable than the equivalent Pivot from last year... Go for it

id would still go with the older pivot series(p10 or p12 or rossi equilant) for 2 reasons. 1)They have the pivot heel 2) They are a proven binding, the px series is brand new for this year.

last years and any previous look or rossi axial bindings. I uno, I just don't think the new redesigned axial this year is as sturdy.

I would go withthe new ones look bindings(px10 or px12 or Rossi equivilant) for 2 reasons. 1) You still have 180 degrees of release with the toe piece 2)They are a proven binding, the px series is a new release to the public this year, but the pros have been skiing on them all last season and love them.

yeah go look p10's/12's - they are tank's and i've never heard of a prob with them breaking before...
