i skied the pocket rockets which are the same thing. umm, not very responsive, super soft, but a ok ski. high speeds it dosnt do well at, and i found i over powerd it becaus eof the softness. which was wierd cus i was like 135lbs and was skiing the 185cm. they just are reallllly soft. id recomend them for soft snow skiing, like powder and nice snow. but anything else, crud, bumbs, ice, god help you.
well i know that the guns are a lot stiffer then the pocket rockets, i used to ride the pocket rockets and i liked em alot, idk thanks foe the opinion tho, any others?
are you talking about the gun labs or the guns? The guns are identical to the pocket rockets. S-Lab guns are stiffer fatter and longer. I liked Pr's for apow ski and just all around fucking off, but as far as charging goes they are a bit too soft for my taste.
I've never ridden them, but when I flexed the guns I was surprised at how soft they were. They were way softer than my Liberty SBs, which can get pretty unstable at high speeds.
well if you work at a shop and know so damn much about them why are you asking other peoples input. The salomon rep told me the guns are the pocket rockets with a new topsheet
then the rep you talked to wasent reppin that well. and i didnt say i knew so damn much, we just sell them, i just mount skis. so i wanted to know. chill the fuck out
The Gun is the same skis as the pocket with a new topsheet on it.
The Gun Lab is a totaly different ski. 188cm 101 waist team issue freeride ski. There are not many of them available to the public in Canada. I'm not to sure about the USA
