well im a race skiier and had a race today but after the race i went to the terrain park to catch up on my favorite things to do. but since i havnt been there in almost a year i did the stupidest thing. tail grabed on a jump and didnt pull out in time and my ski tips went into the snow (weve ha dlike over 6" of snow so its been different) and went farword and landed on my head. luckly i had my helmet on but still i almost got knocked out and i like didnt have any balance to ski anymore which sucked. still terrain parks are the best! way better then racing but you need to know how to race to freestyle good.
yeah you dont have to be a racer to be good in the park, you dont need to be a racer to be good anywhere except for racing. you just need to spend time doing stuff in the backcountry and out of the park some.
I really, really hate it when kids say that. Makes them sound like they are trying to be more badass, kind of like the ones who say they got a concussion, broke their hand, or wrist, or ribs, or tail bone, etc... Without it actually being looked at. Ok, so when'd everyone become a doctor? You didn't do/break shit until it's checked out and confirmed by a professional, not your dumbass buddy going, "Oh boy that knar shit looks broken! HAARDKOOORE!" Other than that, you just got a bruise you fucking pussies.
one time a guy was grooming and he saw this skiblader about to hit the rail as a jump and he stuck the rake thing out and tripped him...funniest thing ever
First of all, as stated earlier, you don't need to know how to race to freestyle. If you put in "ski well" instead of "race", I'll agree with you there.
Secondly, I hate nothing as much as people who just ski off the side of the rail/box, because they have nothing fucking better to do than ruin the box. However, my friend can spins 540s and 720s off tiny stuff like that, and I do think it is acceptable then.
ahahaha holy cow, im lovin it. yea so you bailed on your face cause you suck at freestyle casue you race? and that last part, " you have to race to be good at freestyle, im sorry but that was the dumbest thid ive ever heard!"
forget what i said i had to re-read my top post. honestly i dono why i said that but i guess i said that at the end as in you need the discipline of a team before you can try stuff by yourself. but like i said i dont even know why i put that.
i hate it when it's really crowded and they do it, but if it's not crowded and the terrain park isn't setup, then i don't really care, also he could've been about to hit the rail and just bailed at the last second... but that is pussie like
