its all in the shoulders. cause your body follows them as you turn

Yes your shoulders definately play a major role...and make sure when you are on the rail your weight is quite balanced, because if you are just hanging on in there falling off...don't expect to switch up or 270 out.

i find 270 off (revert) easier on rails dont know why, maybe cos their more grippy
also i find switch ups (front side) easier when going switch on cos u keep ur momentum /ie ur spinning the same way, try it, hope it helps

start your spin while still on the rail if that makes sense. If you can read sammy carelsons trick tip on the 360 switch up in Ski Time

spin on to the rail... you will much more pleased and if your balance is pretty good its actually easier, you alread have the momenutm to do s/w or spin out.

Well I slide right foot foward normally and spin left as well so that created a problem for me like yours. What I did was just learn to slide unnatty so when you spin off, it's wicked easy.

if you get good at unnatural 180s a frontside 270 out is about the same. doing backside 270s off is more like a 360 and you gotta follow through more.

270 of box is harder than rail because on rails you can have your skis in what angle you want, that you cant on boxes..
and a tips for 270's off and switch ups: bend your legs.. and get your shoulders around, the rest of the body will follow

all that shit is harder on boxes i think. Dont waste ur time on boxes. I used to have that problem too just for 270 outs just get enough speed and as soon as u get on the rail setup to spin out with your right fist and throw hard at the end of the rail and it comes around easy. FOr bs switch ups when you pop on the rail setup right away and look quick over your shoulder and your skis should come around

it's all about le shoulders. for any spin/transfer set your arms and shoulders as you get on the box/rail. then be smoove about it

well i never did it this way but one of my friends always does his fs 270 outs by picking up his right(back)foot and start brining that around so youhave that going already then just pop with your right foot and throw your shoulders around, i dont really get and find it kinda hard it but he says its easy for him so might be easy for you

i find 270 offs easier after a 270 on or after doing switch on because you keep momentum better, and it helps to scissor your skis going 270's
