do what he said^, and get a drill press, i would trust myself to do it straigt, (go to school and use their drill press or go to a rich friends house and use his,) after drilling its pretty straight forward,

you need the mounting plates for your bindings, if the holes arenet dead on, they dont fit and you could mess up your skis... its like 20 bones to have a shop mount em so why even bother, its easier to make 20 bucks than to go through the trouble by yourself and screw it up

umm you know thoes things that bindings come on? its like a clear piece of plastic. i think thats the right hole places if they were on a ski, so then just jack one of those and drill your own skis. just figure out how deep you need to go and what not. if you go to far your base will show little dimples. mounting your own skis is hardco cool

those things have tons of holes in them, and the holes are not large enough for the proper drill-bits to fit through. going to a shop is easiest. even knowing what you are doing you stand a good chance of messing up the alignment of at least one hole. if you MUST do this at home by yourself, please get the proper drill-bits at least. they are only a couple bucks and they will stop you from drilling through the bottom of your skis as well as making sure they are the proper width hole.

My dad thought he was an "expert" and mounted his own skis. First time out he ripped his bindings out. Do it at a shop.
