End of the world is soon

Soposedly the end of the world is going to be in 2012 that is only like 7 years from now. In the bible code it said the world will en in 2012, also nostradomous said it will end in 2012, also some other guy i forget his name said that too. If it ends this soon that will suck.

the numbers in oparenthases are how many differnt sources list these dates. if theres no number next to the date that means that only one nut predicted it

First off, Nostradomous has predicted the end of the world many times. Has it come true yet? I don't think so because we are still here. Second, The Bible was not a document created by Prophets, it was created by leaders who wanted to have control the people by over shadowing them with fear of a God who would strike them down at a moments notice. My friend heard the world was going to end on his birthday in 2012 and that was his 21 birthday (legal age for drinkin in CT) and he got wicked pissed and worried it was realy funny

AC means alternating current. Used to describe elctricity. Not dates.

I believe the correct date lable you were trying to use is the latin term "Anno Domini" or more commonly known as "AD". This simply means "the year of the lord" and refers to any time after the birth of Jesus Christ. I have a very hard time believing you, when you use something like that.

Since several people here are siting the Bible as a source for telling us when the world is going to end, can you tell me where I can find it in it?

Because last I checked it specifically made point that 'no one knows the day or the hours of Jesus' coming'

Matt 24: 36-37 "No one knows about that day or hour, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son,[a] but only the Father."

So please, if you are going to use the Bible as a reference at least know what you're talking about.

If you are going to use some novel called the 'Bible Code' as a viable source, which takes out random letters/words to tell us when the world is going to end. Be my guest. The Bible has been translated among 2,100 languages and English version contains around 3.5 million letters.

I'm sure you wouldn't have too hard of a time re-arranging those letters to say anything you want. BUT. If you are going to make reference to this, use according to Michael Drosnin's book Bible Code NOT According to the Bible

According to the Aztec calander, which appears to be one of the most accurate ever created by scriptously monitering the movements of the heavens, the world will be ending in the year 2034. For some reason their calander just stops, and i dont think it was because they got tired of chizzeling. At least we'll get to see the end.

in the sistene chapel they left room to writh the names of all the popes. when they ran out of room they decided that it would be the end of the world. currently, there is room for 1 name left.

also, if the next pope takes the name Peter IV, we are doomed. the bible says that the last pope is supposed to take the name of the first

psh, if you do, thats ok, but if you think about it, and crunch the numbers....evolution theory is bullshit, the pop. level would have really gone up at a much higher rate if the earth really was that old, and we would be way way overcrowded, so, i think that the world will end sometime soon, just not sure, and about waht it says in the bible, there is no exact date prediction, at all, jsut that God will return, and then there will be 7 years of living hell
