I know i could just have the shop adjust my skis to my bindings but i can save $10 and do it myself. Is there any trick to this other than sliding the rear binding up and then tightening the toe piece downward on the boot?
NO, not really, there's a tab underniegth the back of the heel piece. Get a screw-driver and turn it upwards so u can slide it forwards and backwards. If you have a really big change, you might need it remounted.
It depends on the type of binder and whether or not they need to be remounted.
If you've never tinkered with binders before, nut up and pay the $10 and get them done by someone who knows what they are doing...it may save you more money in the long run (i.e. blown knee or broken binders)
