AOL viruses

How do you get rid of them? My friend has one and tried uninstalling aol, then reinstalling but it didn't work. HELP.

my dorky computer teacher dude at my school said that aol is having huge problems and getting tons of viruses
id say to get rid of them clean and quarantine the files

yeah basically AOL sucks huge balls, but i dont think this person, or myself could live without aol instant messanger, its just sooo necessary...haha.. im not joking.

AOL is 10 years ago, upgrade ur POS and get going.

you do know AOL is most of the time more than a high speed connect?

There's other ways to use AIM without using shady AOL software. There is a program called Trillian that connects to most of the popular chat services, like AOL and MSN.

i feel sorry for you that your stilling using AOL........if your talking about aim, i had the same problem. i deleted every aspect of aim from my computer, restarted it and then re downlaoded aim and then restarted and it went away

I'm not really using AOL, I'm just using AIM... if that makes sense. I don't really care that much tho, I only use the computer for music, aim, and writing papers on microsoft word.
