Replying to Parents v.s. Skiing

Im having a problem. I live with my grandma, she is very insistent on knowing who i ski and hang out with (most of the time). I want to go to lake louise with a friend of mine who is 22 this weekend and will drive me. My grandma says i cant go unless she and my friend sit down for cofee and discuss safety precautions and shit. I think this is completely unfair because when i hang out with my friends from school she doesnt have to know them or meet their parents or anything. I also think its bullshit cuz i tell her about the people i ski with and she isnt bitchy about it but with this one person she is. What should I do?
