heh, no one ever really thinks about this. I have skied with my pack before and never really thought much of it, until yesterday. 3rd run of the day Im about to get off the chair at Wolf Creek. my skis hit the ground and all the sudden I am taken around the lift and off the other side of the place where you get off. I was held in by my backpack which apparently have a strap wedged into the space where the armrest is attacked to the base of the chair 15 feet in the air. I told the lift attendant to just put it in reverse but he said he couldnt so I got mad at him. then the ski patroll came. apparently the getto ass lift at wolf creek doesnt have reverse. so I just took my arms out of my pack and fell. It was flat, which was why I didnt want to do it in the first place, but it was a powdery landing and I barly felt it. Im actually glad it happened because it got my adreneline going for the rest of the day. on the way home I got a speeding ticket because I was going 15 over, but the pig reduced it to 5 over.

haha, that's fucking hilaious. I've never seen that before. I've seen people like not know what to do and sit there. I've seen people try and get off and get stuck but they get ripped off by the lift attendant after the stop bar stops tthe lift. I've even see a guy get his ski tips caught in the snow right before the exit of the lift and get knocked under the lift cause his ski was buried into the bank. But that my friend, is funny.

same thing happened to me a few years back i was trying to get off but one of the straps from my jacket got caught and the bar thing to make the chair stop is longer away than where you get off so i get caught and it takes me so im like 15 feet in the air and drops me to flat hard ground was not funny, and i didnt land on my feet because i wasnt expecting it give way.

When we were like, 10, my best friend was wearing her pass on a shoelace tied around her neck, and it got caught on the chair and she was hanging in midair by the neck. It was fucking hilarious.
