I put some of these in the film thread but I'm going to share here too. I recently got two rolls back, one velvia 100 and the other tri x. I'm really happy with how these turned out.
steezysteezeThanks man! It's this slight forest that's on the top of a cliff that is a frequently surfed point break in Lawrencetown, Nova Scotia. Really cool spot, surf can get really nice this time of year too.
i spent some time in kangerlussuaq, greenland for a class trip last week. we got a few nights of intense aurora borealis showings, and this is what i ended up with. there are a ton more shots coming soon, i've just been pretty busy to finish editing them. thoughts?

Loving it! nice and compact and still produces some quality images. I have had a little issue with the autofocus sometimes picking random spots to focus but I think that is also partly user error. For $500 with the 16-50 kit lens was a screamin' deal. I'm definitely hyped on the purchase.

how is dealing with the EVF? (this question goes for anyone else using one as well.) I think the only reason I still have my X100 is because I'm too scared/stubborn to switch to something without an OVF

Maybe since I haven't used a camera in a long time and therefor am out of the loop but what is the problem with the EVF? It seems pretty great to me..

Historically there's been lag, and the colours don't always match up to real life... newer EVF's are pretty fantastic though...
...Still. I use an SLR partially because I trust my eye slightly more than electronics (also less parts to screw up on you so more longevity?)

I shoot with an X-T1 and I love the evf. It's big, bright, and wysiwyg. I love how I can get additional info on screen, it makes manual focusing so much better. Not that these traits are specific to evf's but I honestly prefer them since purchasing my fuji.
Not really stoked on this star shot, same old same old. I was looking to get a nice reflection off of the lake we went to that night but turns out they drained the fucker so we had an ugly empty lake.. haha
I have a question, would you be interested and if so what would you pay for an 8x10 or 13x19 print of photos like this (shipped)? I have a new website coming soon and I'm trying to gage interest on print sales.
