Ok. see how popular and how much good content was posted in the 'this pisses me off' thread, I thought of another good one.

Parents these days.
Why are parents such pussies these days? when thier little bitchy 10 year old wont listen to them, they take them to consoling, and they tell them you have do this and that to satistfy thier needs. Shit! Kids need a good whack once in a while. they don't think the way adults do, and they need discipline. My parents spanked me, and i turned of fine. My grandparents spanked them, and they turned out fine. why? cause it works, and it teaches them respect on a level they understand

Heres and example of some dumbass parents
My uncle and aunt are pretty fucked up. My uncle is a huge pussy, because his wife is insane. they have two kids, and the one is just turning 18, and guess what: shes out on the street, pregnant, and has been doing who knows how many drugs. her little brother has always been a little brat, because they raised him like shit. Ok heres the kicker, my aunt cheated on my uncle with some dumbass roller disco dude. they were gonna get divorced, and they were tring to decide custady of the kid. so what do they do? they call him in and tell him they are getting a divorce, and ok who do want to live with (full time custady sp?)
What the hell kind of thing is this to do to some kid?!?! what parent do you love more? Shit thats awful. And this is just one example! most of my relatives are fucked up rednecks or somethin like that. and theres soooo many people like that today! these parents are so damn stupid. Oh, what another example, my neighbor.

My neighbor is a single mom with two kids, ages 13 and 17.

She has been married somewhere around 10 times, and none lasting anymore than a year. She uses people all the time, has no job, lives in a shit hole of a house (it used to be a very very nice house, they just let it fall apart)
the older one still doesn't have his license, and he just got his temps, so no way hes ever drivin to school. his mom buys them all this shit, which of course they have no respect for and it gets trashed in a couple days. they have no experience with a job of anykind, and the day he turns 18, shit is gonna go down the drain. what the hell is he gonna do? ahh im done for now, im tired of typing.

please add your 2 cents on all this.

Yea, parents can be pretty fucked up. Which is too bad cause I think a lOT of how a kid turns out is affected by his parents. But everyone's goit their issues...

disciplin and spanking are 2 different things. spanking is form of abuse. under no circumstances should a parent ever hit there kid. the kid has no way of defending themselves. it cause low self esteem and brings fear into a home. there are other ways to discipline kids without physically harming them. i admit there are a lot of shitty parents leting there kids do whatever the fuck they want and should be disciplined but not hit. that is my 2 cents

i agree with wiener (which usually doesn't happen too often), but to a point. yes, spanking borders on child abuse, but only if it happens all the time and exessivley. once in awhile, when the kid just doesn't get the point, and is a little brat, won't listen, etc, it's good to give a nice whack and lay down the rules. but, if it keeps happening, just for the hell of making yourself look like the master of the house, then it's not right. i've seen both sides of the gates. my dad only gave me a whack when i was a little dick to them. but if it was a small thing, he just layed the rules on the table. i had a friend in elementary school whose dad beat him and his brother all the time. just for the hell of it. he ended up being the school punching bag and dropped out and i think is homeless now. his brother hung himself in their backyard a while ago. i had another friend in elementary school whose parents didn't give a flying shit about their kids, so they never got beat, rarely got scolded due to the fact that it might 'emotionally jeapordize' their fragile little minds. well, he ended up being a total computer geek and got in so much debt, and dpent so much time on the computer that he ruined his credit and now weighs 300 pounds and works at a minimum wage job.
but then again, i've had friends on those sides of the fence that turned out great even though their parents were wack. so it depends on the state of the child and how you approach them.

This doesn't have much to do with the parents thing, but it does go along with the 'what pisses me off' thread. When my Parents put the remote control on top of the TV. Really, thanks for eliminating the point of the remote control Mom. Wow, I sound like some fat kid who watches T.V. all day. EH...

ok here we go. My mom and dad have never hit me. I feel that I've turned out pretty well. though it isn't the only way to go. The way a parent interacts with their child is
and should be completely different depending on the parent(s), the child and other factors. Discipline is a good thing.

a smack on the hand or a smack on the ass can be a good thing occasionally if something is done that deserves that sort of punishment. If the child is severely bruised, then that is abuse, but mildly sore can be a good thing. makes them think what they have done wrong.

I think a lot of parents are way to eager to pass the blame off onto someone else when their child screws up. It was the tv violence!!! it was the internet. bad daycare!! bad teacher, whatever.

i feel i've turned out weel in life, with a good set of moral principles and values. my mom spanked me when i was a child, and sent me to my room. i've been grounded for things that i don't think i should've been, but you know what all it's taught me? self-discipline, and what NOT to do. the way parents raise and interact with their children WILL affect how they react as adolescents and adults. so don't feel bad 'bout disciplining your child, but please don't overabuse that privelage, which can lead to nasty consequences. there's my 2 cents, and one cent thrown in for free.

a lot of parents today are afraid that if they hit their kids, theyll report them to child services or some shit.
im so sick of over protection, you know why kids get sick these days? cuz parents dont let them play in the dirt. when i was a kid i ate buckets full of sand...it was good for the immune system. kids today arent exposed to germs...fuckin little pussies
