My internet keeps cutting out, can anybody help?

my wirless internet on my dell i6000 (laptop) keeps cutting out. it doenst happen on my dads laptop, or our main computer connected to the router. i will have the internet working for like 15 minutes, then it will cut or for 1 min or so. how can i fix this? the signal when it works is fine, so its not a weak signal. this has only been happening for about a week or so.

right click on "My Computer" then go to properties a window will pop up then go to "hardware" which is a tab then click on "Device Manager" another window will pop up go to "Network Adaptors" and there should be your wireless adaptor right click and press uninstall go back to the "Device Manager" window and refresh A balloon will pop up saying new hardware found then click on that and follow the directions let me know if u need any help

which card are you running if it's cardbus/pcmcia? internal? ipw2200 is my guess.

Careful what's between you and the router. Refridgerators are a bitch, they tend to fuck signal strength like a bitch. Some home wiring will do that too. See if moving closer to the router helps.
