Pro skiers are loosin their style

Ok. Why is every Pro out there growin thier hair to the exact same lenght, wearing the dew rags ALL THE TIME, and gettin all the chains and stuff. Boyd, Belanger, Olson, Fujas, and a billion others are goin for this. Why dont anyone have thier own style? everyone looks identical!

yeah its a sick style. After i watched happy dayz i watched Balance.. i wish skiing was still like that, where everyone thought everything was sick and everyone was having a good time and things, at least looked fun..whatever

Why do you say they are losing their style? They've just changed it and you don't seem to like it. You should say: Why have pros changed to a style that I don't like?

some of pros have changed their styles a bit, but so what? and you post that 'boyd, olsson, belanger, fujas..'
and if you mean gorillash steez, none of those guys ski with gorillastyle; olsson really disses the gorillastyle, belanger's style is very much common skiing style there and pep doesnt ski gorillaway, he's style there is one of the cleanest and nicest, his knees bend but not that much apart and body not so bend down.. theres tanner and pollard who are really doing it and doing it fucking well..

Ladies and Gents,
Style is one of the most controversial topics in freeskiing. Everybody rides differently. Tanner played a key role in starting up the Gorilla style. It works for him. Other riders noticed how well this new style was working for Tanner and gave it a shot...some liked it and some hated it. Personal preference is what it comes down to. As far as clothing. People are gonna wear whatever the hell they want to wear. I wear what I thinks looks good. Tanner and Evan like the 'thug' style...and it has rubbed off on other riders. If you saw someone wearing some good looking stuff...would you wear it or would you pass because of the fear that you might be copying someone else?

first of all, none of those 4 skiers you mentioned wear rags, or bling. yeah they all have long hair but if you hair isnt long then its short. there are 2 ways to have your hair so obviously more than one person will have it long. and there is nothin wrong with long hair. none of those four guys will turn to the rags and bling bling. each one of those guys has their own unique style and they all have long hair. who cares??

i think a good way to look at it is that 'newschool skiing' is in its adolesence. just as every teenager goes through stages where they change their look and image, skiing is doing the same.its definately a natural progression and i think a balance will develop as riders and skiing develops its own identity.i personally dont like the trend of 'guerilla steez' but i dont think everyone is jumping on the wagon there is stilla good amount of variation, although i havn't seen happy dayz yet
