pockets and bcs

what about the pocket rockets and scratch bcs in the park.
Do they work there ive seen oelnik rip it up with the rockets on urban rails and shit.

If you guys are so interested in the park why don't you get the scratch FS or another park ski and not wonder if a big mountain ski is good in the park. Pocket Rockets and BCs are for hucking shit in the back country not on groomed hits. they'd probably work fine, but if your never skiing pow and back country it's a waste.

yah..if you plan on ridding like at least 60% backcountry, then go for the rockets or bc's. Otherwise get an all mountain ski like the fs, or enemies or somehting like that. The pockets were decent in the park for me...they're defintly a lot of ski to get used to throwing around, and the halfpipe is a challenge to get used to. I'm sure the BC's would be better for park though..more side cut.

and i hate you. If you're in the park often get a park ski. if your in the backcountry, get a backcountry ski. if you ski all mountain, get the crossmax, but they don't have twin tips so you sacrifice the job of riding fakie. in skis, it's really hard to find an all-mountain ski that is made with a twin tip. That's what i do, so i got the volkl V's a little long. They're a park ski, but they hold their own in the bowls, groomers, and backcontry. it matters what you want and what your style is.

Most twin tips are good all mountain. I rode enemies for a season in banff and they were fine for everything. Same with my buddy and his 1080s.
