Replying to QUESTION! for all you smart people!

alright so this is all about the... idk how to put it more efficient way of painting skis but i don know exactly how i have to do it, that is why i am asking anyone who might know, ok well my brother is going to college for art and what not, and he has acess to a really nice very big very expensive printer that can print out you guess it fiberglass, so how would i go about getting a fiberglass image on to my skis, would i sande them down to their fiber glass and lay the image on and fiber glass it up, but then what would i do to the roughness of the top? questions, anyone have suggestions? other materials? idk HELP!
