you can expect a manilla envelope with a t-shirt, freeskier 1 year subscription card, and the WHITE SHINE dvd in the mail in 4-6 business days. sorry about the delay, but the movie will be well worth the wait.

i was expecting it to be shipped sept. 16, like it said when i preordered it back in august. I'm pretty dissappointed. What were the issues for it being late? I kind of find it hard to support a company that doesn't even have their shit together to get a movie out on time.

Im pretty pissed off too. I threw down my 30 bucks months ago partly because it was supposed to be one of the earlier movies shipped out. I wouldnt be that upset right now if the people from ple house and others werent telling us dates that it was going to ship over and over again and then it turns out to not be true.

In this thread "phil_belan" tells us it ships "tomorrow" on the 26th which would have meant it would have gone out the 27th. Yes i understand that could infact not be phil belanger himself

There could be some excuse for the one above, but in this seperate thread, "Plehouse" who does in fact work for them tells us it ships out friday, which was the 30th.

And now im being told its been shipped on october 5th?, AND it by someone with a different SN. Yeah, i'll believe you when someone from the US recieves their copy. Like i said, i am not an impatient person and its understandable to push back the dates, but let us know whats going down since we threw our hard earned money on the table to preorder your movie back in august.

Omg ive got it like one week ago it's so nice def the most flowy and enjoyable movie iv'e watched. To bad it only lasts like 30 minutes, but there are twenty zillion extras, like the making of that last longer than the movie itself. The T is so nice too.

It makes no difference the movie isnt goin to be any different then it would have been a week or so ago!!!

Didnt the ca ones ship last week and the us ones this week!!

Would you guys have the same attitude if you ordered something non-skiing related, say a part for your car?

I'm just happy to get mine whenever it shows up, but it is three weeks later then they originally said and that's not good business practice.

uhh the car parts business is way more slow. and who pre-orders a car part... ya we got this new seatbelt coming out for the car in Dec. get ur pre-orders

not many film companies ship on time. the ones that ship later are usually better. its not like theyre sitting around trying to make you mad. theyre improving the film. if its shitty, then you should complain.

It deffitelly isn't good business practice. I a ma punctual person, so having to deal with set backs and various other "problems" is annoying. Saying it is just how the business wokrs is no excuse either. This is a micro-example of what is wrong with the newschool ski industry.

Are the people in this industry a bucnh of high school drop outs? I worked in the trades as a summer job and those guys were never on time, ever. They postponed and delayed and lied. I would like to think that the people in the ski industry are a little more intelligent.

hey you guys still buy the movies next year. so obviously they arent seeing a profit decrease so they dont really care if it goes out late.

common sence says you stop buying the product if its not on time.

yet you will all go do the same thing next year.

this isnt the first time this has happend to all of NS

yeah way to miss his entire point...

If you ordered a part for your car and they said it would be shipped in three days, and then a week later they said it was being shipped, and then they said that again a week later, you'd probably be pissed.

For me its not a problem that they went past the original date, but they could have just said it was taking longer instead of lieing/misleading...

ok ok... the reason why the orders took so long to ship out was because we had to wait for the free subscriptions to Freeskier to arrive at the warehouse. fortunately, JLev was kind enough to drop a bunch off so we could ship out the orders. i sent them out via priority mail yesterday, so everybody should be receiving theirs in 3-5 business days.

I got an order update from d-struct. and it said whiteshien was deilvered, but it's not here. It wasn't delivered. If that fat mailman swiped it, I'm gonna go crazy and throw donuts at him when I see him next time.

no, when every dstructure ships an order out they send you an email saying its been delivered, which really means that its been shipped, your ok
