im Building a 15-20 foot straight box. what do you recommend for the surface? (I knoq theres a lot of threads about this but the search wasnt working). how much for all this? and is there a wait at a hardware store for plastic or metal sheet or whatever i need?
of yu can get lexan, do that, its alot like plastic. steel or sheet metal are too dangerous to use as a top sheet. You can use it to reenfore the lexan though
Use UHMW. It slides really well and will not break. You may need to reinforce it with something just so it doesn't bend depending on the thickness you get. Don't use metal, its really sticky, and don't use plexiglass because it will crack.
yea i use pvc pipse they work really well and its only like 5 dollars a 10 ft pipe so if your making a box i suggest makign it like triple barreled with pvc pipes that would work really well
it cant be good lexan if its cracking, its over 100 times more impoact resistant than glass, ud have to b an elephant on skis doing chads gap onto a rail to break it
