Yes, ski rack of burlington is putting on the second part of there summer jibbin' series. Show up on Saturday Oct 8th for some rail sliding maddness one the green at UVM.

THE SNOW IS COMING TO UVM ON SATURDAY, OCTOBER 8TH 2005, WITH THE FIRST UVM SKI AND SNOWBOARD CLUB/SKIRACK RAIL JAM!!!!

WHO: UVM Ski and Snowboard Club, SKIRACK, Bolton Valley Resort, Rossignol, Siver Cartel and more
WHAT: Ski and Snowboard Rail Jam ON SNOW!!!!
WHERE: UVM Campus, Burlington, VT (lawn behind Living and Learning Center on the corner of Spear St. and Williston Rd.)
WHEN: Saturday, October 8th, 2005 12 to 4pm
DESCRIPTION: The UVM Ski and Snowboard Club together with SKIRACK, will be hosting a ski and snowboard rail jam event ON SNOW on the lawn behind the Living and Learning Center on UVM Campus (corner of Spear and Williston Rd.). Skirack will be trucking in snow from local ice rinks and, together with Bolton Valley Resort, will set up rails and box features for skiers and snowboarders to ride while parents, friends and the generally curious look on in wonder and amazement. The event will start at 12pm and run until 4pm. From 12 to 3pm the rails will be open to all to ride. Athletes from Rossignol and Siver Cartel will look for the best skiers and riders during that time and select a small group of the best to compete from 3pm to 4pm for great prizes from Rossignol, Siver Cartel Clothing and more. There will be music, fun and lots of SNOW!!!! Forget early opening at Killington, come up to UVM campus for the first on-snow skiing and riding of the 05-06 season. Helmets are required to ride.
