Does any one know what the dimensions of the ant pro model are for this year. I wanted to get the 4frnt msp 190's but i really think the graphics dept have had a shocker this year so i'm being shallow and looking at some other skis if they are similar dimensions and feel etc, Cheers
Hey, i'm 193cm and weigh 87kg sorry not sure what this is in pounds. Yeah mostly pow/crud. Do you think that these could be too wide and jp/julians might be a better option if not in the super fluffy stuff so offen. I would like a reasonable stiff ski so it hold up when i'm giving it.cheers
The width difference between the ANT and JPvsJulien is negligible, 3mm. The thing you're going to want to decide is how stiff you want your skis. You're pretty heavy, but the ANTs are a beefy stick. Different ski than the MSP for sure.
87 kg is roughly 192 pounds. You don't need me to tell you that you are a big guy. I think the JP vs Julien will wash out too much....also I think if you ski crud, the Juliens will get a little scary.
The ANTs would be a good ski for somebody your size, but you will probably need to train. These planks are s-t-i-f-f.
As far as being the burliest twin ever...they're close...but the Head Supermojo might top them. ANTs also have minimal sidecut. Minimal sidecut + no flex = a ski that isn't willing to turn. These sticks are all about pointing it and given 'er.
That said....I really want some too....and the graphics are sick.
^I'm actually heavier on that and on Jp vs. Juliens, and orig pistols actually... soft skis, and they're fine, they do what they're made to do. But I agree, in crud a stiffer plank would be better.
Cool. I was under the impression they were meant to be on the soft side, like a big urban jib stick. But I have not seen any of the 06 4frnts in person as yet.
