did you read anything about those controllers...

They look gay, but they have a cool concept to them, I think I read that they are motion sensitive so if you are playing lets say a driving game you actually physically move the controller left or right, or roll it or whatever. It also said that if you are playing a shooting game, you can actually point and shoot like the controller is the gun

The Revolution Controller Basics: What The Hell Is It?
The controller for Nintendo's upcoming Revolution home console system is a cordless remote-control-like device designed to be used with only one hand. Two small sensors placed near the TV and a chip inside the controller track its position and orientation, allowing the player to manipulate the action on screen by physically moving the controller itself. For example, you could slash an in-game sword by actually swinging the controller from side to side, turn a race car just by twisting your wrist, or aim your gun in a shooter by pointing the controller where you want to fire.

nah i honestly think this is going to greatly change Nintendo's fortunes.

It sorta replicates the arcade experience at home because of actual interaction with the games. Seeing as it's going to be MUCH cheaper than the 360 and ps3, i think it has a good chance.

And dont worry, go to joystiq.com and check out the pics of the docking thing that turns in into a gamecube-like controller.

i don't know how many of you know this, but its motion sensored. so when you move the whole controller, the game responds. that controller is probably the sweetest fucking thing i've ever seen.

i don't know why people bash the ps 3 controler, it is exactly the same thing as the old one, just with a smooth shape. Why doesn't everybody stop being a whiny bitch, we will know if it sucks when we play with the controler. Untill then we know nothing.

it's a pretty cool concept. bottom line is, whether it works or not PERFECTLY right now is of no concern. it is the next generation in gaming and a step toward virtual reality, which is what the future of gaming is. nintendo and macintosh are lightyears ahead of the other companies who steal their clever ideas after they've been proven successfully marketable.

(and yes, i know lightyears measure distance and not time, its a matter of expression)

concept video of controller. It seems like it could have some really sweet applications. Then with the conroller shell it looks like you can play it like a normal controller too. I've always liked nintendo controllers. Except the gamecube.

Glad im not the only one on this site that loves that thing. Imagine playing RE5 with that or maybe a Zelda game. Definatly looks siick compared too ps3 and X360 (who will probably making look alikes with their controllers either next gen or the one after that). I like the possibilities it leaves open, you could attach so many things to it (shell, analog stick, gun etc.). And before you say its "gay" read about it or at least watch the video.
