Sweet pants, warm, stylie, lots of pockets. They are only 2K mm but they havent got that wet at all yet, and the insulation kinda protects you anyway. Anyway Ill have a better concept of them when I get back from Whistler.

i like oakley gear, i dont care if it's the prepy gear. i got the new flak pants and the incubator jacket, so i guess im preppy. i would only recomend to get it if you can get a deal on it, my buddy is sponsored so i got it off proform.

for everyone that said oakley is gay, i wasnt askin about the company, i was askin about the pants...yea its true that by purchasing these pants you are supporting a shitty company that sells riduculously over priced gear, but thats not the point...i was askin about the style. who digs it and who doesnt. personally i think they look hot.

Why is oakley gay? Why are they a shitty company?

Their gear is of high quality. It doesn't fall apart or tear after a few months, it is very warm and water resistant. They sponser more skiers than any other company and have and use the resources to support their atheletes very well. These things make them one of the best goggle/apparel companies out there right now.

Are you saying they're 'gay' because alot of people wear their gear? Ever stop to think that this is because they make high-quality stuff? Sure, alot of people do wear oakley because it's 'cool', I'm not saying that. But alot of people also wear it because it's good stuff.

well i never said that oakley was gay, otherwise i wouldnt be deffending the pants, but i do think they are a shitty company in the sense that they are following hype. as soon as their gear becomes real popular, they jack up prices to some ridiculous amount of money. a pair of oakley goggles cost well over $100. yea, i know their stuff is high quality, but marketing and sales arent the only thing newschool skiing is about. its about the sport, not the gear.

im not saying theyre a shitty company, i do agree that they make high quality stuff. but alotta ppl are buying oakley just cause its oakley or cause tanners wearing it. they dont care about the quality of the stuff until someone says that its high quality then theyll start saying that for a few months till someone tells them nobody cares. i think thats the gay thing about oakley.
