Everyone has their own skiing dreams. Well mine is to achieve an ultimate ski-bumming experience and follow the snow wherever it goes...
December 200? : Leaving Vancouver, going up to whistler to say good bye to the "local hill" . A few days there then head straight out to the Rockies(through Big White, Silverstar, and Sun peaks). There, hit Red Mtn, Fernie, Kicking Horse, Whitewater, SUnshine for a few days each, getting a job every now and then in a bar to make some useful cash. By then it's january. The peak of the season is starting.
From the Rockies, we'll drive down to Montana to ski with the hicks in the Bitterroot moutains. Smells like Jackson Hole already. Yup, we leave Montana and its steaks and potatoes and head to one of the first POwder Heavens of our trip.
Enjoy Jackon fully for 2 good weeks, working night shifts in bars or as a man whore, skiing incredible lines all day long. Does it get better than that. Yes, it does, 500 km south in the beautiful Wasatch mtns. Now we definetely ARE in heaven. It's almost february.
The 3% powder is magical and will be tracked during the whole month we'll spend in the Little Cottonwood Canyon. Almost March. Well, Vail and Aspen sounds good to me. Right on, on the road again. Cool resorts but snobish.
Let's go to California! Mammoth is waiting for us with warm spring skiing. A week there, then another 2 weeks roving around lake tahoe, between Heavenly, Squaw, Alpine Meadows, etc... Its April. Driving beack up to Hood. Sesh at Windells, then back home on the NW! Baker, Crystal mtn are fun stuff.
Well, its now may, lets have some time for ourselves and bring in some cash, without forgetting skiing in WHistler and mtn Biking on the North Shore Mecca of course...
