Thats right, my 3rd thread about missing a day in whistler, but today, its not my fault! A fucking car crash at Porteau Cove, one dead guy, so arrived at horseshoe bay we hear that the highway is closed for 2 hours. We head back, then 5 minutes later, we hear they opened the highway for alternate traffic. So were pumped again and go back on the highway. After 20 minutes of slow driving, we're stopped once again at Lions Bay(1.5 hours from whistler at regular speed). They closed the fuckin highway until at least 10:00, so we'd get there at 12:30 at the earliest, and its not worth it so we headed back home. And thats how I missed my third day of skiing this season...
