Replying to im gonna build my own skis

Ok, first off, i know how to fiberglass/carbonfiber, shape wood and all that other good stuff (longboard construction) and i wanna try making a pair of skis. bout 173cm, and pretty wide. i was thinkin bout maybe puttin in some kind of grind plate, but i dunno. I don't know where to get P-tex base material, or edge material. if you know anyplaces where i could buy this stuff, help me out. thanks, and what do you think? u think i can do it?
