if you know how to get a good shot, photography can really bring out the magic of skiing. as well as almost anything else [:

if you stretch the limits and go from a lot of different angles and get really good shots you can really capture some good urban, or even big mountain ski footage. it really all depends how high quality the footage is and over all how well it was shot.
