Yahoooooo! The first kids session started off today, with tons of new features, mixed weather and powder up to our edges. The snow was in and out throughout the day, but it didn't seem to deter anybody, and all the campers were pretty stoked to be the first people on our new terrain layout.

This weeks coaching crew is Sarah Burke, Iannick B, Frank Raymond, Matt Hayward, Justin Dorey, Josh Bibby, and Mike Riddle (who had today off because last night was his birthday, and he ate too much cake or something).

The lanes are really coming tother well, we have about 80 % of the terrain up and running right now, and TJ has been riding in the cat working on the big features over in HNs old lane, which should be ready to go in a couple more days.

Alright, enough talking, I know you all want pics so here we go, unfortunately it wasn't the best weather for photos, but you should get the idea.....

Josh Bibby was pretty stoked on the bus this morning, here he is singing "total eclipse of the heart" at full volume:

Here's our new urban dream rail set-up. From the side and then from straight on with Frank and his group getting some.. Apparently the middle one has something to do with a donkey, but I can't say I've ever been that up close to a donkey to notice, either way, it's pretty fun...

And here's an old favorite, back for another summer:

And here is the mini-jib line (not quite finished yet but getting there), when done you should be able to link the flat-down to a little jump to the car stall to the rainbow....

And here's another one of the rail pads, some more fun options...

Here's the crew moving the new flat down rail into position, and then some shots of it in place, beside the rail to rail gap and a nice medium jump. All of these features set you up into the inrun for the big table zone...

Here's another one of the rail zones, a sweet flat down box combo, a nice flatbar, and a smooth little C..

Moving on down the lane, here's an unidentified camper getting his 360 figured out on one of our smaller jumps..

And a shot of the lower rails with the table semi-visible in the background..

This flatbox is probably the most used feature in our camp, here's a camper warming it up..

And Bibby, still singing 80s soft rock tunes while getting his press on...

The small and medium jumps on the main table were open today, here's Riddle, who showed up in the afternoon (still feeling a little rough from all that birthday cake last night). Here he is lining up the knuckle real good, while the boys pose in front.

And here's a camper, showing him how it's supposed to look... (Also, if you look hard, you can kind of see the stepup being built in the background)

Riddle, of course, eventually figured out the speed and had a fun session over on the medium hit...

And here's an unidentified camper with the spread eagle (best trick ever!) over on the small side.

After day one's warm-up, we know that campers are gonna be wanting the big jump in the middle, so the crew got together at the end of the day and we shaped that bad boy up, should be good to go tomorrow, can't wait to hit this beauty, the transition is soooo long...

Hopefully we get some sun soon and get some nicer shots for ya, Seeya soon everybody!

Hey again everyone, we did get the big jump going today, and it was a hit. The boys were murdering it. Also keep in mind those pictures were taken before we got the shaping finished, and we have now filled in the sides so it's not really narrow at all. Brogan was the first to hit it switch, and the extra long transition seemed to be working super well for switch stuff.
