Can't believe this season is over. It is always a sad time of year, but I guess you got to make the best of it.

I ended up skiing 8 days at Trembs this year. Not nearly enough, but I got a week in at Colorado which bumped me up to a reasonable total.

How were your seasons? What were the highlights/lowlights? What did you think of the park?

I will start things off:

Overall, I think the Southside park was the best its ever been this year. I can't remember a better year for jumps, and everytime I went there the features were in good condition. Hopefully Philou is around again next year and we get the same amazing park.

I am 24 now so a highlight for me was an injury free season. I had a couple epics days in the park where I was throwing down all the stuff I was when I was younger.

Also, if you guys have any edits you made at tremblant, post them in this thread!

I got to ski 40 days this season. I was on pace for a personal record of 50 until I got injured...

I'll start with highlights...the North Park was open as of opening day which was awesome. Got some good practice in the north until the south was open. The south park was, as dishwalla said, the best it's ever been. I loved the jumps this year, especially the first one. The south park rail line was also a sick addition and way more cool than the skiercross from last year. I got some great sessions in this year and learned a lot of new tricks on jumps and rails.

And now the bad....I got injured on a beautiful park day in March and haven't skiied since (doctor's orders)...I underrotated a 720 on the second jump (landed 630) and cartwheeled 5 times...my trachea (windpipe) rubbed against my spine and ruptured and I had an air leek in my neck!!!! It really made me realize the serious consequences of our sport. What really sucks is that I was planning on doing the T4 comp the week after (for fun) and that got completely ruined....

Anyways, I had a good season considering what happened and I'll try to get an edit up asap. Looking forward to next year!!!!

^holy crap man 40 days! that's awesome.

I agree with ya. The rail line is definitely a big addition this year. IT was a good alternative to the jumps if the weather wasn't good.

I would post an edit too, but my brother moved out to Whistler this year and I gave him the camera since I knew he would probably get more than 8 days of skiing in.

Got in 18 days at trembs this year. After a couple of years of minimal jumping, finally got back into it and started feeling good in the air again. Parks were awesome and had a great progression to em. Great season overall.
