Yes please! Are these the similiar to the Antidogma? And are there any major changes in the 09-10 skis? I'm loving the work Amplid puts into their equipment!

Syntax...

- Proven Antidogma Shape (Syntax will be available in 172 and 178)
- New: Hexo2 Technology
- Helio P15 Ultralight Wood Core
- New: HexMat Biax Epoxyd Matrix Laminate
- Magma Edge Shock Absorber
- T.P.U. Spin Tips
- New: Silver Foil Inlay
- New: See Through Top Sheet and Base (section on the tail of the left ski)
- Matt Soft Touch Coating
- Doomsday Camber
- Twinbevel Sidewalls
- 7.2 GE Sintered Base

Hexo2 Core Technology - Take our Helio P15 ultralight wood core, cut out swing weight where necessary and fill it back in with a honey comb structure created from recycled cellulose.

HexMat Biax Epoxyd Matrix Laminate - A prepreg biax specially developed for our Hexo2 technology. It arrives at the factory in freezer trucks and reacts at room temperature. This is the best way to control glue dosage, waste, and minimizes resin surplus. This biax combined with our Hexo2 Core produces ridiculously light skis!

Result = The lightest park ski our factory has ever produced with virtually zero swing weight

The difference between the Antidogma and Syntax is materials and construction...

Antidogma
- Sizes: 166 / 172 / 178 (Syntax: 172 and 178 only)
- Dimensions: 119-86-110
- P10 Superlight Core (oppose to the Hexo2 Core in the Syntax)
- Glassfiber Impact Biax (oppose to the HexMat Biax Epoxyd Matrix Laminate on the Syntax)
- Abuse Base (removed for weight reduction on the Syntax)
- BA 4.4 Extruded Base (oppose to the GE 7.2 Sinterbase on the Syntax)

Which one is better?!?!.... Both are amazing park/all-mtn skis with the same shape. The Syntax is extremely light weight and has a faster base while the Antidogma has Abuse Base and a more impact resistant contruction.

The C7 is our high performance all-mtn/park ski. It utilizes our P10 Superlight Wood Core combined with our Glassfiber Light Biax, 2 layers of Titanium Aluminum Alloy, and a 14.94m (@175) turning radius. To put it simply, this ski is on a whole new level...

Sizes: 165(red) / 175(blue) / 185(green)
Dimensions: 121-80-108

I've heard that the C7s are stiff, snappy, and responsive with an amazing turn radius. Those are all incredible properties for a park ski imo. I'm curious though if the titanium adds extra weight to the ski? Are they much heavier than the average park ski?

Yep, the C7 is amazingly agile, snappy, yet very solid underfoot.  It was kind of a sleeper model this season in the shadow of the Antidogma, but now everyone who demoed them is addicted.  Our goal was to build a high-end park ski that rips all over the mountain, at whatever speed you want to take it.  Watch Alex on them sometime and you'll get the picture.

The ti-alloy layer does add a little weight, but it's not excessive.  Keep in mind that our benchmark park ski (the AD) is considerably lighter than average, and I'm comparing the C7 against that.  If you want ridiculou$ly lightweight, check out the Syntax (made partially of air and recycled aramid/cellulose).

hmmm...  let us think about that.  We'll be doing more promotions soon, and this is definitely the place to hear about them.

One thing helps for sure, telling all the staff at your favorite shop what products you'd like to see there next season.

Antidogma
- Sizes: 166 / 172 / 178 (Syntax: 172 and 178 only)

Which one is better?!?!.... Both are amazing park/all-mtn skis with the same shape. The Syntax is extremely light weight and has a faster base while the Antidogma has Abuse Base and a more impact resistant contruction.
The Syntax will carry a bigger price tag...

Yes I know that the AD has the abuse base and the syntax has the faster base.....but is the Syntax close to as durable as the AD? I ski a lot of rails so I need a very durable ski, but I would like to get an extremely lightweight ski like the syntax. Please answer, this cult is almost dead.

Well... it is summer and we here at hood have skiing to do instead of sitting behind a comp all day :)

I apologize for the cults' loss of steam but we'll get it going again ASAP!

Both skis are durable. If your skiing tons of rails I would probably choose the AD. If you hit more jumps than rails I would than probably choose the Syntax

Ahh i would do unforgivable things to be at hood right now.  Thanks a lot for answering.  This contest will definatley get the cult going again.  Ive been sitting here brainstorming ideas for the contest for a while....judging by the ideas people have submitted so far, its gonna be a really fun and competitive contest
