No Jib Academy near you? Have no fear the online contest is here. So grab a camera, capture your best minute and you too could end up in Mammoth with the Salomon Team at the Jib Academy Finals! The rules are simple and just to make it clear we will be taking 5 lucky online winners to the Salomon Jib Academy Final in Mammoth May 3^rd thru the 8^th 2009.

• You must be from the United States or Canada.
  
• You must be No Older than 16 on the contest date.
• All entries must be submitted through the Newschoolers contest system.
• Edit must be 1 minute or less NO Exceptions!
• There is no set list of criteria just show us your best side (Remember it is all about having fun!)
• Submit your edits by 10 pm EST on February 8^th, February 22^nd, March 8^th, March 22^nd, and April 8^th
• Remember to Log back on to Newschoolers to vote on the 5 finalist the following week
• Salomon will give away a 1 trip to the finals on each of the following dates February 15^th, March 1^st, March 15^th, March 30^th, and April 15^th
• Log on to NS contest site to see results

The Salomon Team will be picking the 5 finalists for each of the edit deadlines.

These 5 finalists and their edits will be posted on the NS contest site, no later than 36 hours after each edit deadline. (Edit Deadlines 10 pm EST on February 8^th, February 22^nd, March 8^th, March 22^nd, and April 8^th)

Poll voting will be utilized to compile 50% of the final votes. Yes this means you the NS viewers will have a say. Just go to the NS contests site after each edit deadline to view the 5 chosen finalist and vote.

The Salomon Team will count for the other 50% of the vote.

We have 5 winners to pick and will announce 1 winner on each of the following dates. February 15^th, March 1^st, March 15^th, March 30^th, and April 15^th. Winners will be announced on the NS contest site.

Once you register and submit your first video don't stop there, keep gathering footage make a new edit and resubmit your latest trickery. Just remember you can only apply once, so keep your login information handy.
